I can imagine. Our Emperor is...gone, he has been for almost a full ten years now, and we haven't been able to name a successor. Things were easier under his rule, when I had some sort of guidance, someone to look up to.

I don't know if he would have known what to do in the times we were facing when things changed for us, but I do wish I could have asked.
