She reminded me very much of Chara, though I did not realize it at the time. And now, she is gone before I could tell her so.

I wish that we had been closer. Perhaps, had I done something differently, she would have been more inclined to come to my door that night after all...

I do not regret what I have done. It had to be uncovered, for the sake of the group. But...I must admit, it weighed less on me when I was not so active in revealing the truth.

A fellow non-human here, and one who was imprisoned in his world as well. As a result of a business dealing gone very poorly, rather than a war, but the end is the same. Should this exercise end with us returning home, I hope that he can do so under better circumstances.

He is very enthusiastic! Especially about baking, even though he has no way to taste the fruits of his labor. I think that says a lot about him, does it not?

I wish that I could offer him a good place to go, when this is all over. He is right that he may not be well-received in the outside world, wherever we are. But I could not possibly bring more prisoners into the Underground.
