First Impressions

Appearance

Asgore is, first and foremost, a very large monster. He stands around nine feet tall, not including his horns, and has a lot of bulk to go with that height. Most people think he resembles a goat, and there are clear similarities in the long curved horns, floppy ears, and the short white fur that covers his body. Some other qualities are more leonine, however. He has a longer yellow mane and a beard, as well as sharp claws and teeth. The claws are kept carefully short, and his pawpads are thick and callused.

He's soft-looking, but there are muscles underneath the fat and fluff. Despite his size, his manner isn't very intimidating. He moves carefully, as if afraid to inadvertently step on someone, and with a surprising amount of grace. Though he's a little too large to sneak up on people in general, he seems to make a particular effort to avoid ever startling people.

When dressed formally, he typically wears a small crown, golden armor, and a flowing purple cape. He seems quite comfortable in this outfit. Nonetheless, it's far from his choice for everyday wear. In more casual settings he likes soft colors, floral patterns, and stupid sweaters. He doesn't wear any kind of footwear.

In LifeAftr in particular, he has a lot of floral-print shirts and shorts, as well as a small collection of galaxy cat T-shirts courtesy of Nari. Though he will bring out the armor in risky situations, and he occasionally seems to take some form of comfort from wearing his cape around his shoulders, he absolutely never wears his crown.

Demeanor & Attitude

Asgore is very friendly and always willing to chat. He generally seems very calm and stable. Sometimes he seems a little melancholy, but he's far more likely to want to help with other peoples' problems than ever talk about his own.

Voice

Asgore's voice is very deep, as one would expect from a creature his size. Though he rarely ever raises his voice, and tends to speak rather gently in general, it definitely carries in a sort of low rumble.

Magic & Telepathy

For those who can sense magic, Asgore's body is pretty much entirely composed of magic that's exuded from his soul. This is the case for all monsters, though anybody with a basis for comparison will note that he's more powerful than any monster aside from Toriel. His soul is ever-so-slightly more human-like. Anyone who can CHECK his stats will find that his HP is still extremely high, but his ATK and DEF are both pretty much garbage right now.

Telepaths will find that he has no psychic shielding whatsoever. His mind tends to be a pretty melancholy place.
